Wiring loom adapter that is used when retrofitting Passat W8 interior light into VW Golf mk4 / R32 FR / Bora / Passat / Seat Leon/ Skoda Octavia etc.

Simply plug one end onto existing loom and other end into w8 interior light (not supplied).

Connect loose wire to power feed from sidelight switch to illuminate switches and ambient LEDs.

Please note the loose wire will need to be extended in order to reach power feed point from sidelight switch

On the bora vent loom there are two wires a black and a yellow one. They both connect to the back of the headlight dimmer switch.

The Yellow wire taps into the grey/blue wire on this switch and the black connects to the brown earth wire on this switch or any earth wire or earth point in the car.

By doing it to the dimmer switch when you dim the ambient lights the W8 Red LED's will also dim.
