Overtime the EGR system becomes blocked with carbon deposits resulting in reduction of air flow and reduced fuel economy with an increase in smoke emissions. This delete kit has been developed to eliminate the problems associated with faulty or leaking EGR systems and improve performance, fuel efficiency and emissions whilst reducing inlet air temperature and helping keep the intake manifold and turbo clean.

Once the EGR valve has been deleted and blanked off, the vehicles ECU will no longer get a signal which may cause the emissions fault light to appear on the dash board. The software on the ECU will need reprogramming to get rid of this error.
